Mari Jarva-Yeo

Froebel's blocks were the first big source of inspiration for my wooden sculptures.

I wanted to make blocks for adults, something to play with: to hold and arrange, something smoothing, lucrative and fun.

Well, the result doesn't quite look like blocks but wooden pastries and cakes.
